Our trip to Motat

On Monday morning I went to school and then we went on the bus. It was noisy. Everyone was excited. I was excited too. Then we were at Motat. We went into our room where we had morning tea and lunch. We told the teachers the rules around Motat. Then we had morning tea. After that we went in a room and we looked at old transport and new transport. Then we went to see some of the same things as were in the pictures. Then we went back to the room to have lunch. After that we went to the mirror maze. We went in the steam train and then we went on the tram. After that we got on the bus. It got us back to school. My favourite part of Motat was the mirror maze because it was very hard to get out.

ANZAC DAY

A long time ago some people died in the war. On Anzac Day we remember them. By B.T

On Tuesday we went to the hall. We went to the hall because we needed to have a minute of silence. When we had a minute of silence it was very quiet. Some children said a prayer. By R.K 

 

A long time ago there were some people and soldiers that fought in the war. They were brave. Some of the soldiers were big and some were small and some were tall and some were short. Some people died and they put them in the ground. By N.S

0n Tuesday I went to the hall. We needed to be quiet for one minute because we need to remember the people who died in the war. I was sad when they died. I like Anzac Day.  By K.M

Yesterday I went to the Anzac Day parade. I saw my friends. It was loud because in the first parade I was at the edge where the parade started.

Yesterday I saw Anzac Day on T.V and lots of people died. It was sad. Then they all sang the National Anthem. Then they stayed for one hour. Then they marched. By C.W

At the war there were lots of people who died in the war. We remember them on Anzac Day.  By R.T

My great-grandad  fought in the war. I think he was so brave and he died before I saw him. I am going to march next year because my Nana was in the Air Force and I'm going to march with her.  By E.S

Swimming

Today I went swimming. It was freezing and cold. I went under the water. We had Ant and Stacey. We did kicking. We did washing machines. I did a starfish on my tummy. I even did a starfish on my back too. I splashed in the water. It was cool and I had fun. We even did my swimming arms. We had fun. By R.K.

Today I went to the swimming pool. That pool was freezing and I went after morning tea. I had to take my shoes off and that was how we walked over to swimming. I had fun in the swimming pool. It was awesome.

I liked the swimming pool because it was warm and it was fun and we did lessons. I did some splashes and we all put our faces in the water. It was the school's pool.

In the weekend I want to go to the swimming pool to do cannon balls. Its awesome to do cannon balls. The pool was warm and I splashed in the water. My sister came with me. My Mum and Dad came to keep us safe. I found out that I was a mermaid.
