Bees

We have been learning about bees. We have presented our information on some shapes like a honeycomb. After we wrote our information we dyed the paper yellow and made a bee to go in the corner of our page. Our work is now in the passage beside our classroom.

School Assembly

Today it was our turn to run the school assembly. We were all really excited as we had to sit on the stage and use the microphone to announce what was happening. Most of us had a turn to do something.

We had art to show everyone. We had made Roly Poly birds. The Roly Poly birds were from the story "The Twits" by Roald Dahl. They had been great fun to make and looked awesome.

Some of the children in the class acted a play called "The Ant and the Grasshoppers." The children in this play were KM and NS (the readers), RK was the ant and EM, S-A A and AH were the grasshoppers. They had to speak really loudly so that everyone could hear them.

We also showed the movie we had made using "KidPix" and "Photostory."
We had a fantastic time doing assembly today.
