School Assembly

Today it was our turn to run the school assembly. We were all really excited as we had to sit on the stage and use the microphone to announce what was happening. Most of us had a turn to do something.

We had art to show everyone. We had made Roly Poly birds. The Roly Poly birds were from the story "The Twits" by Roald Dahl. They had been great fun to make and looked awesome.

Some of the children in the class acted a play called "The Ant and the Grasshoppers." The children in this play were KM and NS (the readers), RK was the ant and EM, S-A A and AH were the grasshoppers. They had to speak really loudly so that everyone could hear them.

We also showed the movie we had made using "KidPix" and "Photostory."
We had a fantastic time doing assembly today.

It was a fantastic assembly room 2. Everyone spoke clearly on the microphone and the kids in the play also spoke clearly and loudly without the microphone so we could all hear. Loved it :)DH

The Very Hungry Caterpillar on Room 2's blog was one of our favourite 'Term 2 Holidays Break' things to watch! Well done all of you! Cheers from Ryan's family
